Work in Progress: St Mary St. Church Restaurant, Dublin

Below is a sketch carried out for MESH Architects of Dublin for a LED dsiplay screen / chandelier to be located inside a glass tower that provides access into a converted church. The each node of the chandelier can be individually programmed so it can dsiplay graphics, text, videos etc.

Vilarose Restaurant Simulation

The images below are based on an architects rendering of a new restaurant. I was asked by Halo Lighting to design some LED light fixtures to light the tables and to simulate the ambient LED wall lighting. Here are the results:

New Photos From the Curved LED Screen Installation at Clink Street

In February Halo Lighting asked me to make photos of the outdoor LED screen at Clink Street. Here are 2 of the images, the first shows one of the test patterns used to check the system and the second shows the installation in its default 'firework' mode.

Photos from the Floridita Restaurant, London

Below are a series of shots I mage of the Floridita Restaurant in the Westend of London. This is another Halo Lighting project. Although I was not directly involved with this one I include it on the blog as it is a great example of what can be done with LED lighting.

Lighting Simulation vs Real Life

I have posted the images below to show the effectiveness of lighting simulations, especially for the benefit of clients.
Left:
A 'Photoshop' simulation of the installation that I made for the client based on the actual pixel pitch of the LED screen.
